The first day of spring is promoted by the Federation of Historic Motor Vehicles SA as ‘Drive It Day’. You are encouraged to take your historic vehicle out so that the public can see it. Take it to work, take it shopping, or just go for a drive.

Or you can take your car to Bethany Reserve in the Barossa Valley for a BYO lunchtime picnic organised by the Gawler Veteran Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club.

You can join in on a run to Bethany from either of two starting points at 9am - in Elizabeth or Gawler, or just turn up at Bethany Reserve at around 11am.
